Lianjiang County Ren'ai Village Model Housing: County Magistrate Liu Tseng-ying Joins Units for Inspection

The model housing at Plot No. 147, Ren'ai Village, Nangan, Lianjiang County has been mobilized for site grading and is preparing to begin road construction work. County Magistrate Liu Tseng-ying, together with the Public Works Department, construction contractor Jinyi Construction, and the supervision company, recently went to the site again in the morning for a 1-hour inspection, issuing instructions on road elevation, slope safety, soil and water conservation, residential plaza space and views, as well as location configuration, in order to carry out effective and comprehensive design and planning.

Public Works Department Director Chen Chung-yi stated that the contractor is currently carrying out site grading, but the up-and-down slope within the site is too steep, and the ground elevation needs to be adjusted again. There are also some tunnel structures from earlier years within the site that must be demolished and graded; in addition, there are several large maple trees decades old within the site that will be preserved as much as possible.

The main area of the site is to be cleared in August, and adjustment of the sloped land elevation, site access, and the residential ring road plan will begin in September. The Public Works Department plans to first complete the turnkey project for residential construction before the end of this year, with 5 buildings to be completed and handed over in 3 years.

The plot at No. 147, Ren'ai Village, Nangan has an area of 18,000 sq m, facing south from the north, extending from the right side of the road entering the village from Tieban (formerly Mulan Village, now the female soldiers' dormitory) to the hillside opposite the intersection leading to Sanjia Village. It has an unobstructed view of the South China Sea, with the Sundown Coast Hotel directly below, the military hospital downhill to the lower right, and the Yuntai Welfare Center on the left.
