Hsinchu Life Festival: Mayor Lin Chih-chien: Let citizens enjoy a relaxing, good life
The "2017 Hsinchu Life Festival" will kick off lively on September 16 and 17. This year (the 106th year of the Republic of China), two main themes are planned: "Slow Stroll Along the Canal" by the moat, and the "International Day" at Guanxin Park on the 23rd and 24th. This weekend, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., street art performances, cultural and creative markets, dream life lectures, lawn music, Rock Hsinchu live music, and the Dance Hsinchu dance battle will be held along the moat, at Dongmen Gate and at 228 Memorial Park, and the Formosa Circus Art is again specially invited to bring dazzling acrobatics. Mayor Lin Chih-chien sincerely invites the public to relieve stress and live leisurely, stroll along the riverside scenery, and enjoy a wonderful weekend.
Mayor Lin Chih-chien said that the "Hsinchu Life Festival" is entering its third year, conveying the life philosophy of "stress relief" and letting citizens enjoy a "good life." He hopes that through cultural and creative markets, lectures, and diverse performances, it will create a simple and happy living atmosphere in Hsinchu City and bring a sense of happiness to the city. This year's Hsinchu Life Festival takes "outdoors" as its theme, inviting the public to step outside, slow down, and feel the leisurely space of the city's blue-green belt along the moat, Dongmen Gate and 228 Park, the most water-friendly and people-friendly spots in Taiwan, China.
The "Hsinchu Life Festival" fan page is holding a raffle. The public is welcome to participate enthusiastically for a chance to win a dream cardboard house.
