Cilantro and scallion planting record, sharing the full cultivation experience

I. Tool preparation

Yesterday I made a special trip to the market to buy two vegetable planting pots. The pots I bought this time are quite distinctive: the space at the bottom of the pot for drainage and airflow is relatively large, which can effectively prevent waterlogged roots and promote root respiration; and it is recessed inward, which can prevent direct sunlight from reaching the roots, because plant roots like darkness and dislike sunlight.

II. Sowing

1. Add an appropriate amount of soil to the vegetable planting pot and water it thoroughly.

2. After the water has completely drained down, evenly scatter the cilantro and scallion seeds (better too many than too few; if there are too many, you can thin them out, but if there are too few, it is hard to find the seedlings).

By the way, let me explain that the temperature in Shenyang has already reached 30 degrees. When growing cilantro, there is a possibility of bolting and flowering. Although the appearance will be poor, it does not affect eating, and the flavor is still very strong.

3. Evenly cover with a layer of fine soil about 1 cm thick.

4. Then cover with a layer of plastic film. It is hot now, so the main purpose is to retain moisture.

After that comes waiting, waiting for them to sprout and grow.
