Fruit and vegetable gardens full of vitality, farmers in a poverty-stricken village in Jiangxi join forces to strive for a moderately prosperous life

On June 20, an aerial view shows the 480-mu fruit and vegetable garden in Sedan Village, Renhe Township, Yushui District, Xinyu City, Jiangxi, full of vitality. Sedan Village is a provincial-level poverty-stricken village. At present, the village has a total of 618 households, including 27 registered poverty-stricken households with 44 people. In order to lead the villagers out of poverty and toward prosperity, the village, through land transfer and the establishment of planting and breeding cooperatives, has developed projects including greenhouse vegetables, fruit corn, melon and fruit cultivation, cold storage and preservation, and sunflower sightseeing, laying a solid foundation for lifting all poverty-stricken households in the village out of poverty as soon as possible.
