The Tea Expo tea lecture series held a press conference on the 25th at Mishu South France Manor in Taichung. At the event, Tea Lecture Academy founder Tang Yinshan and Mishu head chef Huang Xiangcheng paired Jinxuan tea and honey-fragrance heavy-roast oolong tea with Spanish-style Iberian 24-month aged ham, Mediterranean white anchovy, yellow lemon cream cheese with black caviar, and mini lemon tarts for guests to taste. Lin Meizhu, deputy director of the county government's Agriculture Department, guaranteed after tasting that this year's tea-pairing meals combine different elements and will surely give everyone an understanding of Taiwan tea different from the past.
In the Tea Expo held from the 7th to the 15th, the tea-pairing meal activities are divided into 3 major themes, pairing classic teas Jinxuan, Wutang, honey-fragrance heavy-roast, and Tangjia red with 12 chef's private dishes. From the 7th to the 9th is Italian romantic style - Tea Lecture X Yunpin Hot Spring Hotel; from the 10th to the 12th is passionate Spanish tapas - Tea Lecture X Mishu South France Manor; from the 13th to the 15th is Taiwan Nantou local specialty ingredients - Tea Lecture X Fumei Grand Hotel. There are 3 sessions daily, respectively from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each session is 1.5 hours, with admission open 30 minutes before the activity starts.
