The lake surface of Honghu Park is about 250,000 sq m. The second and third level lakes are extensively planted with lotus, water lilies and other aquatic flowers, covering an area of more than 100 mu. It is a lotus landscape planting base in South China with a relatively large lotus planting area and a relatively large number of varieties.

Bowl lotus exhibition
Unlike the grandeur of the hundred-mu lotus pond, bowl lotuses are unique and small. In terms of lotus cultivation techniques and exhibition methods, they "strive for perfection." During the lotus festival, about200pots of exquisite, elegant, beautifully colored and highly refined miniature bowl lotuses are exhibited. Aren't you going to take a look?
In April 2017, Honghu Park and "Shenzhen Ai Lian Shuo" held 3 sessions of the "2017 'Shenzhen Ai Lian Shuo' Citizen Bowl Lotus Planting Activity", giving away bowl lotus seed rhizomes, seeds and pond mud for free, allowing citizens to plant lotus with their own hands.
Now, the bowl lotuses carefully tended by citizen friends will also be sent to the park to participate in the bowl lotus exchange exhibition~
