On June 20, during the harvest season for the ten-thousand-mu lotus roots in Baipeng town, Liujiang district, Liuzhou city, Guangxi, farmers harvest the lotus roots and transport them to purchasing stations, where after washing, packaging and refrigeration, the lotus roots are shipped to Singapore, Malaysia and other ASEAN countries. Baipeng town is one of China's largest "double-season lotus root" production areas, with a double-season lotus root planting area of 32,000 mu.
