Green organic rice cultivation helps Qindeli in Heilongjiang achieve high efficiency
"My 350 mu of paddy fields finally got to 'drink' river water this year. Because river water is warmer than groundwater and rich in organic matter and minerals, it clearly helps increase grain yield and quality. Rice can increase yield by 100 jin per mu and income by about 150 yuan per mu. By the end of the year, I expect to earn more than 200,000 yuan," Deng Yunsheng, a grower at the Qindeli Branch of Beidahuang Co., Ltd. under Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Group, said with a smile to this writer on June 17.
In recent years, the Qindeli Branch has actively responded to the calls of governments at all levels, persisted in taking the path of developing green organic rice cultivation, strongly supported the construction of the Qindeli irrigation district of the Heilongjiang River water diversion project, and made full use of the wetland resources of the Heilongjiang River to develop ecological animal husbandry and organic green rice cultivation. They make full use of water resources, actively implement the concept of ecological planting and breeding to develop a circular economy, and while using river water for irrigation, vigorously promote integrated rice pest control technologies such as biological control and physical control. In accordance with the "three reductions" principle, they effectively control the use of inputs such as chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides to ensure improved rice quality. At the same time, they intensify marketing efforts, strengthen publicity and product packaging for river-water organic rice, carefully build the "Qindeli Bay" brand of river-water rice, and strive to improve grain output benefits.
