Bali - a small town full of waterfront charm, planned by the New Taipei City Government along the left bank of the Tamsui River into a multi-functional recreation park, with continuous bicycle paths, spacious natural lawns and pedestrian walkways. The newly built wedding photography plaza also adds a romantic new look, gradually becoming a great getaway for Greater Taipei residents on holidays.
The Bali Left Bank has quite abundant tourism resources. To showcase the diversity of its beautiful riverside beach landscape, the "2017 Bali Sand Sculpture Art Installations" exhibition was specially planned and held. It is the first sand sculpture art creation space held in a city in Taiwan, China, using this to promote the riverside's visibility and recreational functions, attracting domestic and international tourists to visit and travel locally, and feel Bali's vibrant enthusiasm! This revitalizes the local economy and creates new opportunities for riverside tourism.
Taiwan, China's first urban sand sculpture art works were completed on October 23, 106th year of the Republic of China calendar (2017) at Bali Left Bank for a 40-day exhibition, with the theme "Wedding 'Sand' Leading to Bali," integrating the Bali Left Bank landscape. Five sand sculptures of different sizes and themed styles will be exhibited, and a nighttime sand sculpture exhibition will also be launched, inviting the public to go outdoors, "stroll through Bali by day, admire the moon and sand sculptures by night."
The 5 sand sculpture art works use Bali's famous specialty industries - bamboo shoots and pomelos - as the entrance imagery: "Bamboo Blessings for Peace Double Rabbits," the large main sculpture "Guanghan Palace" and "Chang'e Visits the Moon Palace Together," "Bali Wedding 'Sand' of Happy Experience," "Awaiting Cupid's Love," and other artistic creations. The park also provides bean bags, which the public can borrow to rest and enjoy the riverside scenery, experiencing the joy of sand sculpture art creation and the aesthetics of life, sharing a wonderful visual feast of spectacular sand sculpture wonders and land art in happy times.
