Estimated at the variety's current wholesale price of 1.5 yuan per jin, each greenhouse can sell for more than 20,000 yuan. After deducting the total investment of nearly 7,000 yuan per greenhouse, the net income per greenhouse can reach about 15,000 yuan. Not only that, a second crop will be planted in mid-July, and wholesale from the field can begin in early October. Compared with last year's market prices and other factors, the guaranteed net income from the second crop per greenhouse reaches more than 5,000 yuan, and the annual net income from the 12 spring greenhouse watermelons can reach 250,000 yuan. It is understood that the market for this variety of watermelon is already mature, and sales channels were already set up in advance through the company that developed this watermelon variety, mainly selling to southern cities such as Shanghai and Changsha.
