New Taipei Riverside Christmas Celebration: Parent-Child Pedaling Brings Warm Christmas Cheer

As Christmas approaches, the "New Taipei Riverside Christmas Celebration, Coming-of-Age Ceremony and Leisure Ride" event will be held on December 2 at the "Crescent Moon Bicycle Rental Station" in New Taipei City. The event features 3 categories of cycling activities: "Coming-of-Age Ceremony," "Leisure Ride," and "Push Bike Fun Race." The public is welcome to bring their families and join together. Everyone who registers will receive 1 T-shirt and 1 water bottle.

The "Coming-of-Age Ceremony" category is specially designed for junior high, senior high, and university students with long-distance cycling experience, challenging them to a one-day long-distance ride to foster their mental growth. The "Leisure Ride" category, open to all ages, welcomes whole families to get outdoors, pursue health, and experience the joy of cycling. In addition, there is a "Push Bike Fun Race" category suitable for young children who cannot yet ride, leaving them with a warm childhood memory of cycling.

Moreover, whether it is the challenging Coming-of-Age Ceremony or the family-friendly Leisure Ride, the routes pass by popular scenic spots along the New Taipei riverside, such as the "New Taipei Riverside Panorama" at Huajiang Riverside Park, the "3D Stereoscopic Painted Dinosaur Mural" under Huazhong Bridge, and the fresh and adorable Miffy that traveled across the sea from the Netherlands to Bali Culture Park, all of which are great backdrops for stopping to take photos.
