How to save a withered azalea? A few practical methods

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
There are many reasons an azalea withers: if it is caused by a change of environment, you need to change the environment, increasing ventilation and watering; if it is caused by a lack of nutrients, you need to increase the supply of nutrients; if it is caused by improper fertilizing, you need to fertilize appropriately, not too frequently, and the fertilizer used must not be too concentrated.

I. Change the environment

1. Cause: If it is a newly bought plant, it is very likely to wither because it has not adapted to the new environment.

2. Solution: In this case, you need to give the plant more ventilation, let it come into contact with outside air more, and water around the plant more to ensure its water supply. Once the plant gradually adapts to the new environment, it will slowly come back to life.

II. Increase nutrients

1. Cause: The plant will grow buds when the weather turns warm, and if nutrients are insufficient when the plant is growing buds, it will cause the plant to wither.

2. Solution: Before the weather turns warm, slowly increase the plant's nutrients, and when the plant is budding, gradually raise the nutrient supply.

III. Fertilize reasonably

1. Cause: Applying too much fertilizer to the plant will cause withering because the fertilizer concentration is too high for the plant to tolerate; if too little fertilizer is applied, the plant will wither because the nutrients cannot meet its needs.

2. Solution: Fertilizing the plant should be done at set times, at set places and in set amounts; you cannot apply more whenever you think of it and skip it when you do not. One more thing to note is to ensure the fertilizer applied to the plant is not too concentrated, otherwise it will not only fail to achieve the purpose of fertilizing but will also damage the plant's health due to improper fertilization.
