Huanan County, Jiamusi: 250 million bags of small wood ear mushrooms bring big money

Northeast Network, June 22 (Shi Xinyi, Reporter Wang Mingfei) The reporter learned from Huanan County, Jiamusi City that in recent years, relying on the resource advantages of its semi-mountainous areas, Huanan County has continuously adjusted its planting structure and developed specialty cultivation, focusing on expanding black wood ear mushrooms, white melon seeds, perilla, large hazelnuts and green vegetables, among other specialty agriculture and under-forest economy. At present, Huanan County's black wood ear mushrooms have grown to 250 million bags, white melon seeds to 50,000 mu, perilla to 150,000 mu, large hazelnuts to 80,000 mu, and green vegetables are planned to reach 50,000 mu this year.

In recent years, Huanan County has increased policy support, keeping a close eye on the under-forest economy and specialty agriculture, and the scale of wood ear mushroom cultivation has continued to grow. Through measures such as improving production processes and deep processing, farmers have achieved employment and increased income. Mengjiagang Town is a major town for wood ear mushroom cultivation, and farmers in many villages have years of experience growing wood ear mushrooms. Last year, Yang Guihai, a farmer in Hongri Village, added four new greenhouses for hanging-bag wood ear mushrooms through structural adjustment, and the number increased to 100,000 bags. Right now the hanging-bag wood ear mushrooms in the greenhouses have entered the picking period, and the ground-laid wood ear mushrooms are in good condition. He expects to earn 100,000 yuan from the 100,000 bags of wood ear mushrooms cultivated this year.

To develop and expand the wood ear mushroom cultivation industry, the Huanan County Party Committee, the county government and the town government have increased support, investing in the construction of a standardized centralized mushroom spawn cultivation base in Qunying Village. The base now produces every day, and daily spawn production has increased from 6,000 bags in the past to about 22,000 bags, which can meet the spawn cultivation needs of the whole village and has also made spawn production more centralized, large-scale and modern. This year, Huanan County has also brought in the Huateng Biotechnology black wood ear mushroom full-industry-chain project through investment promotion, planning to invest 230 million yuan in the Economic Development Zone to build a high-tech edible fungus industry development and production base, promoting the rapid development of the primary-industry mushroom farmer cultivation base and the secondary-industry standardized production of mushroom bags in the edible fungus industry, and it is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of August.

Next, Huanan County's agricultural development will focus on the under-forest economy and specialty agriculture. By introducing and strengthening leading processing enterprises, as well as adopting support measures such as policies and funds, it will advance the large-scale development of specialty industries such as black wood ear mushrooms, white melon seeds, perilla and large hazelnuts, thereby driving agricultural structural adjustment and further boosting agricultural income.
