Greenhouse planting helps farmers increase income and escape poverty

With the help of the poverty alleviation support unit Ulanhot No. 4 Middle School, Bao Tiezhuang, a villager of Minsheng Gacha in Yilelite Town, Ulanhot City, rebuilt his house and also built a greenhouse. This year Bao Tiezhuang planted radishes, garland chrysanthemum, and baby bok choy in the greenhouse. Bao Tiezhuang said: "My health is poor, and I can't do heavy work. Growing vegetables in a greenhouse is not heavy work, and the returns come quickly. With the help of the support unit, I also have a sales channel. This year the greenhouse vegetables have already been harvested 4 times, and the income has reached nearly 10,000 yuan."
