How do you care for summer flowers so they keep blooming? Master these few methods

As society changes, more and more people have come to love flowers. Many keep them to purify the air, since with the march of the times the air has grown murkier and murkier. Many others use them to break up the monotony of their homes, planting lots of colorful flowers. In my own home I have also planted quite a few flowers; whether indoors or outdoors, I have flowers growing, along with some potted plants and some succulents. I have also planted some smaller plants in the yard, mainly just to please the eye. So how do you get flowers to still bloom in colorful profusion in the hot summer, to still put on a spectacular display? Let me talk about how I grow them. Apart from when the weather is really harsh, the flowers in my home are basically evergreen all year round. How do you keep summer flowers blooming continuously? Just master these few methods.
First, we definitely have to prepare a place with a good growing environment for the plants. We all know that flowers and plants basically need photosynthesis. So you must make sure the plants get plenty of sunlight. Therefore, flower lovers who grow flowers indoors at home, take note: it is best to keep your flowers and plants in a spot that gets a fair amount of sun, whether on a balcony, on a windowsill that faces the sun, or even on a table by the window.
Not only should the location keep plenty of sunlight, it should also stay well ventilated. But in summer, conditions are often one long stretch of blazing sun, the ultraviolet rays are too strong, and the sunlight is fierce. Some plants cannot take full sun. For example, succulents, spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum), and flowers like these need to stay moist in summer. Avoid exposing them to too much sunlight. Only then can they stay in a better blooming state.
Some flowers have a fairly short blooming period, so once the flowers wilt we should pick them off right away. This prevents further water loss and preserves some moisture for it to sprout again. When we water the flowers, we must be careful not to pour water directly onto the flowers or their leaves. If we find rotten leaves, we must cut them off immediately. Only this way can we help extend its blooming period.
During the seedling stage of the flowers, this is exactly when they need our most careful attention. These newly cultivated seedlings must be placed in a somewhat shady spot for care. Just give them a bit of sunlight every day. For example, in the morning or afternoon, giving them 4-5 hours of sunlight is enough. If they get too much sun, the heat of the sunlight will dry up their moisture, and then they will easily wilt. They may even dry out and die. Protecting the seedlings well is the key to getting them to grow upright.
We know that growing flowers definitely requires fertilizing, just like growing vegetables, except that when growing flowers we do not need to be as particular about fertilizing as we are with vegetables. Still, when growing flowers you should pay attention to this point: if you want the flowers to bloom in midsummer, then you definitely have to loosen the soil and fertilize. We can add some wood shavings or sand to the soil. That way the soil will be looser, and the pores needed for fertilizing will be larger. We buy some organic fertilizer and just fertilize once every one or two months. After fertilizing, we need to check whether the soil and water moisture is sufficient, because soil with fertilizer in it absorbs water more readily.
These are some summer flower-growing tips I have summed up, drawn from my own experience of growing flowers at home. Personally, I feel these methods are pretty good, and I hope they can help fellow flower lovers.
