With the addition of the Taoyuan office, TAITRA now has a total of 66 locations at home and abroad.

The opening of the TAITRA Taoyuan Office featured a joint unveiling ceremony by Chairman Huang Chih-fang, Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan, Taoyuan City Legislator Cheng Pao-ching and Bureau of Foreign Trade Chief Secretary Ni Ke-hao.

In addition to leaders from Taoyuan's industrial and commercial circles attending to offer congratulations and support, TAITRA Vice Chairman Chuang Shuo-han, Vice Chairman Liu Shih-chung, Secretary-General Yeh Ming-shui, Deputy Secretary-General Wang Hsi-meng, Deputy Secretary-General Lin Fang-miao and all first-level TAITRA executives attended in full force to witness the new milestone.

Ni Ke-hao stated that more than one-third of the nation's top 500 manufacturing companies have factories in Taoyuan. This year TAITRA, in line with government policy, has promoted multiple innovative programs for entry into New Southbound markets, and now choosing Taoyuan to provide businesses with immediate service, it is foreseeable that in the future, by integrating relevant resources with the Taoyuan City Government, the local economy will continue to be invigorated, with unlimited development potential.

Huang Chih-fang pointed out that businesses can connect with TAITRA's global trade network through the Taoyuan Office and market their products worldwide. TAITRA will serve Taoyuan's key industries and small and medium-sized enterprises through a mobile, on-the-go approach.

In particular, TAITRA this year is committed to developing big data analysis and e-commerce, precisely to assist the government, industry associations and small and medium-sized enterprises in setting strategies and providing business opportunities, forming a national team through diversified integrated marketing, and helping businesses enter the supply chains of overseas markets.

Cheng Wen-tsan stated that Taoyuan is the nation's gateway and also an industrial cluster. In addition to its outstanding performance in traditional industries, it has many hidden champions among small and medium-sized enterprises. Combined with the concentration of the logistics industry, it is very suitable for e-commerce development. Now with TAITRA's presence, it can be said to be a combination of strengths, assisting Taoyuan's diversified economic and trade development.

Cheng Wen-tsan said that the government will soon approve the plan for the Taoyuan Convention and Exhibition Center. With TAITRA's support, it is expected to bring in more business negotiations, training and cooperation programs, allowing both living and production to take root in Taoyuan.

The director of the Taoyuan Office will be Li Chien-hui, and the office is located on the 28th floor, No. 1082, Zhongzheng Road, Taoyuan City, providing the most direct service to the Taoyuan area.
