The secret to lucky bamboo growing like crazy and surpassing 1 meter is actually here

Lucky bamboo was the first green plant in my plant-growing journey, because lucky bamboo not only symbolizes wealth and good fortune, but is also very easy to keep alive. Leave it there and change the water and fertilize on a fixed schedule, and the tips won't dry out or the roots rot. Now it has surpassed 1 meter and grown as tall as a small sapling, and I'm still quite happy about it. To grow lucky bamboo well, just pay attention to the following points.
1. Placement. My lucky bamboo is all placed in the living room, bright and ventilated, with no direct sunlight. Now that the weather is hot, the air conditioner or fan will be turned on at home, and at this time the position needs to be moved, away from the air vents. Being constantly exposed to the airflow will lower the humidity around the lucky bamboo, making it prone to dry tips and yellow leaves.
2. Water. Many lucky bamboo plants are grown hydroponically, and mine is too. I change the water once a week. If the water is not changed for a long time, the roots will easily rot. I also use cooled boiled water. I've seen some gardening friends buy purified water to change it, but I'm not willing to spend on that, so I directly use cool boiled water. If you want to use tap water, it is best to let it sit in the sun for 1 day before use, because tap water contains relatively large amounts of chlorine and bleaching powder.
3. Fertilizing. Many gardening friends overlook this point and think lucky bamboo does not need fertilizer. If you want it to grow tall and thick, fertilizing is still necessary. I always choose organic nutrient solution, purely plant-fermented, rich in organic matter, and better absorbed by plants. Every half month, take a little, dilute it, and use it directly, and the lucky bamboo grows rapidly.
For lucky bamboo that has grown this long, cut a section about 30 cm long and make a 45-degree diagonal cut at the base. This can increase the area for rooting. Put it in a cup, then add 2 crushed aspirin tablets, and before long it will grow big white roots, giving you another pot of lucky bamboo.
