People love to keep roses on balconies or indoors, but have your roses ever drooped their heads during this process? When you run into this situation, have you ever done this?

Too dry

The branches of the rose droop, wither, and go limp, and the flower buds are likewise limp and drooping. One reason is that it is too dry, and the potting soil is too dry, so the rose cannot absorb water. It is just like a person who has not taken in water for a day and a night; that person's condition will certainly be poor. So when you grow roses, it is best to keep the moisture sufficient!

So how to water is another question. Watering is also a technical job. In spring and winter, watering once every 7 days is enough, because the spring climate is relatively humid, so there is no need to water too much, otherwise it will be counterproductive. In winter, plants are in a dormant state, so there is no need to water too much, otherwise the rose will not be able to absorb it, water will accumulate at the roots, and they will rot.

Too much or too little fertilizer

Some people grow roses and think no fertilizer is needed, or they apply a lot of fertilizer to make them grow more brightly colored, and both of these are unreasonable. If no fertilizer is applied, then where will the flowers absorb nutrients from? That is why the flower buds droop their heads and seem to have no energy. If too much fertilizer is applied, the plant will not be able to absorb it and too many nutrients will remain.

When growing roses, manure soil or rotten leaf soil should be used as the base fertilizer. Then use organic nutrient solution for fertilizing. The organic nutrient solution used for roses is not only easy to absorb but can also condition and promote roots, making roses grow fast and bloom more. This kind of organic nutrient solution is not available everywhere. It is fermented from plant-source sugarcane, needs to be diluted with a dropper each time, and is truly highly concentrated. Each time you water the soil, dilute it 800 times.

Insufficient sunlight

Roses need light. Keeping roses indoors without light for a long time is one of the causes of drooping flowers. Being placed indoors causes the plant to have no nutrients and be unable to carry out photosynthesis. That is why the flowers droop their heads. If the plant is kept under strong light for a long time, that is also no good; it will make the flowers wilt, and naturally they will droop.

Poor soil

Many diseases actually come from the soil, and at the beginning they may not be noticed. But when hot weather arrives, they begin to become obvious. Many pests hidden in the soil begin to hatch and harm the roses, so the soil we choose must be good. Air permeability, water permeability, fertilizer retention, high organic matter, and few diseases are the most basic requirements.

Therefore, when growing roses, they should be placed in a place with sufficient sunlight, but they do not need to be exposed to it all the time, and strong light should not shine on them continuously. Next, good fertilizer and soil should also be chosen. With good watering coordinated with these, roses will not have this kind of problem. Note that in high temperatures you can appropriately shade the roses, and adding a shade net is also quite good. After doing this, the roses will no longer wilt, and they will lift their heads and bloom in a overflowing pot!
