A 10 sq m mini terrace garden. It's a small space, but it's still enough for me to tinker with!

Above my home there's a rooftop platform of over 100 sq m, on the floor above my little terrace. I originally thought the stairs up to the rooftop were private, but it turned out they're public stairs, so I don't want to use it. Several neighbors downstairs dry their clothes up there~
This private terrace of mine is only about 10 sq m, very small, but it's still enough for me to tinker with!
The day before yesterday, gardening friends from the same city came to visit my terrace, and they even brought me gifts
They're all varieties I like. The day before, I accidentally broke a clay pot, and it was just right for planting the Sedum morganianum the gardening friend gave me
After tidying up this broken pot, it really does have a certain charm
This year's new addition, the Hippeastrum "Ambiance" - when I bought it, the shop owner said I probably wouldn't see flowers this year, but unexpectedly, as soon as it arrived home, it shot up a flower scape
After more than a month of waiting, I finally got to see her bright, gorgeous face
Madagascar periwinkle, the light purple one, winner of the Best Worker of the Year award. Its blooming period ran from last May until a few days ago, when I gave it a new haircut. For nearly a year it never stopped blooming beautifully. After cutting it the day before yesterday, I found many offspring had also sprouted on the soil surface
Three days off. On the last day I was free at home with nothing to do, so I took my daughter to the flower market for a look around, and brought back 20 pots of kalanchoe. Passing a grid stall, I unexpectedly found it selling lots of garden knick-knacks. I stuffed the whole trunk full, and also brought back a small bunch of artificial allium flowers. I love allium, but I've sown them several times and every attempt failed. Helpless, so helpless
First put it on the terrace to show off a bit. Doesn't it look very real? Let me take a photo first, then put it at home later
I bought a set of birdcages, went 200 m, oh, it hurts my wallet
But the effect really is quite good
What a coincidence. I really wish I lived in the same place as you, then we'd have company in our spending sprees
When it rains, just treat it as giving the flowers a chance to rest. Prune what needs pruning, sterilize what needs sterilizing. This is the time for them to come into play
Colorful foliage plants are an indispensable part of home gardening. On days without flowers, they are the stars
You must have seen those flowers in green belts pruned into balls, right? Treat your seedlings the same way and let them slowly grow into a semicircular shape. Whenever a branch grows too long and goes beyond the semicircle, pinch it off - that's pinching
There are lots of these hanging baskets online. I think they're very pretty. Kalanchoe grows fastest after flowering. During this period you can pinch more, to make it grow short and stocky. The tops you pinch off can be used for cuttings
