A new vision for smart transportation helps Linkou Startup Terrace leap to become the largest startup base
Building the flagship entrepreneurial cluster "Linkou Startup Terrace" (Startup Terrace), striving for the economy not only to make all citizens feel the impact, but also actively attracting international investment and inviting the world's top innovative industry clusters! The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs held the "2018 Smart Transportation 'New Service Vision' International Symposium" on the 29th. Not only did Director-General Wu Mingji personally attend the event, but experts from France, the United States and Finland with global planning experience in the smart transportation field were also invited, along with more than a hundred elites from Taiwan's related industries, hoping to drive industrial development through this and achieve the goals of startup experimental cooperation and enhancing the industrialization of smart vehicle technology.
Director-General Wu Mingji of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration stated that the Linkou Athletes' Village, which had just hosted the Universiade last year, is now promoting the establishment of Linkou Startup Terrace, which will provide domestic and overseas investors and startups with the highest-quality investment and entrepreneurial environment. In order to improve the convenience and smoothness of transportation connecting the park to the outside, and also to smoothly connect with the Airport MRT system, Linkou Startup Terrace has already planned to solicit international proposals and introduce the world's most efficient and low-pollution smart transportation service system.
Director-General Wu Mingji added that, in addition to the advantages brought by smart transportation, in order to increase the willingness of domestic and international investors to invest and move into Linkou Startup Terrace, measures such as a single window for expedited clearance of entrepreneur visas and exemption from cargo inspection, as well as relaxed preferential and tax reduction policies, are the best gifts from the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration to encourage domestic and overseas enterprises to invest and move into Linkou Startup Terrace. It is hoped that startup elements will be linked with local industries, using the strength of local industries to accelerate the commercialization of startups and expand market opportunities. This year, the first phase of three buildings will be opened for international startup teams to move in, and smart transportation-related industries at home and abroad are strongly invited to move in, which will complete the first piece of the park's overall long-term plan.
