Yunlin Gold and Green Labels double-checked, agricultural product quality truly safe

Creating a refined and safe agricultural product supply chain. Yesterday (the 30th), a marketing press conference and promotional event centered on the "Yunlin County Gold and Green Label Agricultural and Fishery Product Safety Management Plan" was held at the plaza in front of the Taichung City Government Hall. Yunlin County Government Secretary-General Huang Yushuang, Taichung City Deputy Mayor Chang Kuang-yao, Taichung Fresh Hot Spring Chairman Liao Tzu-tsen, and National Formosa University Vice President Yang Ta-li jointly endorsed the event, marketing Yunlin Gold and Green Label agricultural products.

In addition to the participation of local Yunlin farmers certified with the "Gold and Green Label," the event also invited the Taichung City Government to jointly market the products, and combined with the Taiwan Digital Technology Group's "Safe Yunlin Agricultural Products Platform" to showcase and offer tastings of seasonal high-quality agricultural products on site. Moreover, to convey the concept of "from farm to table," a five-star Fresh Hot Spring Hotel chef was specially hired to use Gold and Green Label local high-quality agricultural and fishery products, incorporating them into dishes to present a "local ingredients - gourmet feast."

The Yunlin County Agriculture Department stated that in order to enable Yunlin County's agriculture to comprehensively move toward safe production, ecological conservation, and healthy living, and to enhance consumer rights, the Yunlin County Government promotes the "Gold and Green Label" agricultural and fishery product safety certification, encouraging farmers to practice organic or pesticide-free cultivation. Among these, the "Gold Label" refers to those certified by the county government for crops grown without the use of chemicals, and livestock and aquaculture raised without medicated feed additives; the "Green Label" refers to agricultural, livestock, and aquaculture operators who use chemicals reasonably and are certified by the county government. The promotion of the Gold and Green Label aims to establish the Yunlin brand, create greater business opportunities, move toward safe agriculture that combines "safe production, ecological environment conservation, and healthy living," and fulfill the "Eat safe, find Yunlin" brand image of Yunlin County as Agricultural Capital 2.0.
