Changhua County Magistrate Wei Ming-ku Attends the Opening of the Changhua Huatan Agricultural Innovation Carnival

Changhua County Magistrate Wei Ming-ku was invited on the morning of the 8th to attend the opening press conference of the Xingnonghui Local Agricultural Innovation Carnival. Huatan Xingnonghui is located on Fanhua Road, and the event combines four main themes: the Agricultural Innovation Market, the Agricultural Innovation Academy, Sunny Farming Good Farmers, and Farming in Life. In the future, it will also continue to display and market related local agricultural products. The press conference was attended by Xingnonghui founder and honorary farmer Li Chen-hui and others. Magistrate Wei Ming-ku attended the opening event to support local farmers through action, and said that with the opening of this Xingnonghui market, he saw a group of people using the market to bring outstanding farmers and small farmers together, gradually expanding the base, and also enabling farmers to better understand marketing in the production process. Through this platform, everyone can see the hard-earned results of farmers, and everyone is welcome to come and buy high-quality agricultural products.

Magistrate Wei Ming-ku said that Taiwan farmers' production and cultivation techniques can be said to be world-leading. Changhua County has many people who have won the Shennong Award, as well as many outstanding farmers. The county government hopes to bring these together so that their techniques can be passed on, and also hopes that through their techniques, agricultural products can be managed sustainably. Especially in the marketing process of agricultural products, the establishment of distribution channels is also very important. It can not only reduce exploitation in the intermediate process, but also increase farmers' income and improve farmers' lives.

Magistrate Wei Ming-ku pointed out that the county government's support for agriculture and training for farmers includes establishing the Agricultural Innovation Academy, so that young farmers can not only return home to engage in agriculture, but can also go back to school for further study, gain new knowledge, and learn online marketing, as well as related measures such as subsidies for labor-saving agricultural machinery for farmers. He hopes everyone will make good use of them.
