Yunlin County Government Guides Xiluo Datong Soy Sauce to International Recognition

The Yunlin County Government's long-term guidance of the soy sauce industry has yielded fruitful results. After receiving guidance, Xiluo Datong Soy Sauce Co., Ltd. launched the product "Datong Additive-Free Original Flavor Kettle-Bottom Soy Sauce," which won international dual certification, making it the only brand in Taiwan, China to simultaneously receive the 3-star additive-free certification and the A.A. Best Flavor Award. Yesterday (the 24th), a press conference was held to present the award-winning product, Additive-Free Original Flavor Kettle-Bottom Soy Sauce. County Magistrate Li Jinyong, Department of Construction Director Su Kongzhi, Department of Agriculture Director Lin Huiru, Health Bureau Deputy Director Wu Yinglang, Douliu City Mayor Xie Shuya, and Secretary-General Li Fuhan of the Additive-Free Catering and Food Development Association of the Republic of China all attended to show their support and share the joy with county residents.

County Magistrate Li Jinyong stated that soy sauce produced in Yunlin has obtained international certification, demonstrating that the Yunlin County Government has spared no effort in guiding the soy sauce industry. He hopes that rice and soy sauce producers in the county will join hands with the county government and continue to produce the highest-quality products, injecting new vitality into Yunlin County.

Director Su Kongzhi stated that Xiluo Datong Soy Sauce Co., Ltd. passed the Ministry of Economic Affairs evaluation in 2011 for the "Datong Soy Sauce Black Gold Brewing Museum" (a tourism factory) and in the same year won the honor of an excellent tourism factory, making it a highlight of tourism in Yunlin County.

Secretary-General Li Fuhan stated that this time, the product of Xiluo Datong Soy Sauce Co., Ltd., "Datong Additive-Free Original Flavor Kettle-Bottom Soy Sauce," stood out from restaurants or products in 10 countries, including Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China and the Netherlands, winning the double championship of the 3-star additive-free certification and the A.A. Best Flavor Award. This is the highest honor in clean label food certification, and it is hoped that this will promote additive-free food and bring consumers a safer food safety environment.
