Magistrate Lee Chin-yung stated that in the era of globalization, science and technology are upgrading rapidly, and the Industry-Academia Collaboration and Intellectual Property Incubation Operations Center of YunTech has served as a bridge for local industrial innovation for 20 years, closely assisting many youth startup teams through industry-academia cooperation to operate smoothly. He hopes that the establishment of the startup park will become a cooperation platform for industry, government, and academia, fostering the emergence of three major industrial fields in the county: livelihood chemicals, electronic information, and cultural and creative technology. He expressed great expectations and blessings for its future operations.
The park will integrate various resources from public departments, corporate associations, and venture capital, while also linking "Yunzhong Street Cultural and Creative Park" and "Gukeng Green Tunnel" to drive a ripple effect of innovation and incubation in Yunlin. Currently, the occupancy rate of startups in the new park has reached 70%, focusing on three major fields: livelihood chemicals, electronic information, and cultural and creative technology. The businesses being mentored include Yunlin traditional industries, green energy industries, and a well-known Japanese animation company. It also provides Co-working Space business shared offices for startup teams or freelancers to move in.
