2018 Penghu International Sea Fireworks Festival Makes a Charming Debut on the Love Island of Qimei

The second offshore-island show of the "2018 Penghu International Sea Fireworks Festival" made a grand debut on the evening of the 23rd in Qimei Township, known as the Love Island. County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu made a special trip to take part in the event and counted down together with the crowd on site as the dazzling fireworks lit up the Qimei night sky, weaving a romantic summer atmosphere that left the audience astonished and full of praise!

The event was held at 6:30 p.m. at the Nanhu Harbor pier, where the masterful big-head magic show and fire dance performance left the audience amazed. The organizers also invited the powerful Taiwanese-language singer Dai Meijun to perform on site, and at 7:30 p.m. brilliant fireworks soared into the sky over the Nanhu Harbor area, showing off the unique charm of the Love Island and giving visitors and Qimei residents an unforgettable night.

County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu said he was very happy to join everyone in Qimei to celebrate the fireworks festival, and that it was a joyful moment. Qimei is full of beautiful scenery, and the Double-Heart Stone Weir in particular is a unique landform, which is why the county government made it one of the representative attractions of Penghu County, one of the world's most beautiful bays.
