A Passionate Midsummer Golden Pumpkin Party, the National Giant Pumpkin Invites You to Show Off Your Dance Moves

The New Taipei City National Giant Pumpkin Competition, organized by the Tamsui District Farmers' Association, is about to make a lively debut in Tamsui in June. Besides enjoying a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes on site, the public can also show off their dance moves to the fullest! Last year's pumpkin dance competition won enthusiastic responses from the public and students, with participation extremely enthusiastic, making it a major highlight of the event! This year, a first-ever "Summer Halloween" pumpkin-themed dance competition has been created, inviting contestants to use costume styling and choreographed storylines to give free rein to their imagination about Halloween and pumpkins, and join together in this joyful summer celebration. Registration for the dance competition opens today, and the event will be held on June 23 (Saturday) afternoon at the Tamsui Golden Waterfront Plaza, inviting creative dance talents to take the stage and compete for the top prize of 10,000 yuan!

The New Taipei City Government pointed out that, continuing last year's stunning reputation, the organizers hope the dance competition can inspire the public to express the vitality and imagination brought by pumpkins. They have also arranged generous prize money: the first place receives NT$10,000 and one medal, the second place receives NT$5,000 and one medal, the third place receives NT$3,000 and one medal, the merit award group receives NT$2,000 and one certificate, and the honorable mention receives NT$1,000 and one certificate. In addition, an audience popularity award has been planned, and the winning team can receive high-quality pumpkin products carefully developed by the Tamsui District Farmers' Association as well as high-quality Tamsui pumpkins, allowing them to taste premium seasonal pumpkin produce.

Since only fifteen teams are open for participation, and the mechanism is first-come, first-accepted, the quota is currently about to be filled. Therefore, teams that want to showcase their dance skills at the National Giant Pumpkin event and share their full passion with everyone should register as soon as possible so as not to miss this great opportunity.
