Hsinchu City Xiangshan Wetland Park Trial Operation Concert on Saturday, Matzka Shows Support
Xiangshan Wetland is an important ecological base for conserved species in northern Taiwan, China. The Hsinchu City Government has built an environmental education park in Xiangshan Wetland. At low tide, the mudflats are full of crabs and mudskippers crawling out. The park will begin trial operation this Saturday, June 30, and a concert will be held at the Meishan section of the 17 km bicycle path, at No. 55-1, Lane 320, Section 5, Zhonghua Road. Well-known bands Matzka and Clippers Electric Big Band are invited to show their support, and there will also be all kinds of local foods, food trucks with light meals, and parent-child ecological guided tour courses. Families are invited to enjoy the food, watch the sunset, and experience the unique ecological charm of Xiangshan.
Division Chief Wu Jiatian said that on the day of the trial operation, a concert will be specially held, inviting well-known groups such as Matzka, Clippers Electric Big Band, Kimberley Chen, Ma Yongen and Nong Nan Band, You Gan Jue Band, and TW International Band to celebrate together. There will also be two sessions of ecological guided tour courses that day, with 15 groups per session (one adult paired with one child). Children must be at least seven years old. The ecological guided tour courses can let parents and children learn about ecological environment education.
On June 30, light food stalls will also be set up on site. In addition to food trucks, well-known local food businesses from Hsinchu City are also invited to bring specialty foods on site, including Xiangshan Fiber Beer, International Rice Noodles, Zhuqian Linji Foods, Red Bean Village - Hsinchu Store, Yushou Tea, 814 Lixiang Ice Shop... and more for you to enjoy together. A dining area will also be set up on site, inviting the public to enjoy light meals, listen to music, and look at the sea view.
