Xiaochengzhen remediation has completed investment of over 36 billion yuan

Recently, the Office of the Leading Group for the Comprehensive Environmental Remediation Action of Small Towns in Zhejiang Province reported on the progress of the province's comprehensive environmental remediation action for small towns. The report mainly contained two major parts: the status of planning formulation and filing for the comprehensive environmental remediation of small towns across the province, and the progress of project implementation.

As of the end of May 2017, all 1191 small towns in Zhejiang had completed remediation planning formulation; 883 had completed planning filing, accounting for 74.1% of the total. Among them, the remediation planning filing rate for small towns in Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Zhoushan, and Taizhou had reached 100%, Ningbo reached 89.3%, Wenzhou reached 32.2%, Huzhou reached 78.3%, Shaoxing reached 59.3%, Jinhua reached 40.5%, Quzhou reached 80.7%, and Lishui reached 65.8%.

At present, small towns across Zhejiang are in the stage of concentrated start of construction on remediation projects. According to statistics, during the three years in which Zhejiang carried out comprehensive environmental remediation of small towns, the total number of remediation projects planned for implementation in the province's 1191 small towns was 23281, with a total investment of 189.47 billion yuan.

It is understood that as of the end of May 2017, a total of 9656 projects had started across all localities, with a total completed investment of 36.26 billion yuan; among the 443 small towns included in this year's plan to meet standards, 5551 projects had started, with completed investment reaching 21.29 billion yuan. Among them, the project start rate in 9 cities divided into districts had exceeded half, and Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, and Jinhua ranked among the top in the province in terms of completed investment progress.
