It's cherry season again, and many people are hopelessly confused when faced with che li zi and ying tao. These two fruits look very similar, and many people don't know how they differ. Some even mistakenly think that che li zi is just a transliteration of the name "cherry." Actually, that's not entirely wrong. But "cherry" itself refers to the cherries native to Europe and the Americas. They belong to the same family as Chinese cherries, but they are not the same variety. So, are che li zi and ying tao the same? What are the differences between che li zi and ying tao? Let the Huacaole editor tell you:

A few differences between che li zi and ying tao so you never have to worry about being fooled again

Ying tao (Chinese cherry)

Che li zi (imported cherry)

The differences between che li zi and ying tao

One: Different places of origin: What we call che li zi is imported cherry, produced in American countries such as the United States, Canada and Chile, while ying tao is domestically grown in China, with main production areas including Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Gansu, Shaanxi and Sichuan. Among these, Yantai large cherries are the favorite of food lovers.

Two: Different colors: Imported che li zi are dark red. After being harvested, large imported cherries are shipped to China by sea, which takes nearly 1 month. To ensure they can be stored for a long time, they must be picked early. Domestic large cherries are all freshly picked. From being picked from the tree to arriving at the table takes only 3 days, so the large cherries are still in a fresh state, and every single one is at its optimal ripeness, which is why they taste so good.

Three: Different sweetness: Large cherries have the advantages of both che li zi and traditional cherries. Large cherries are round and plump, with thick skin, and they are large, and they also have a slightly sour characteristic that che li zi do not have. By comparison, che li zi are sweeter.

Now I believe all of you will be able to clearly tell the difference when choosing large cherries and che li zi. In fact, it's not necessarily true that foreign products are better than domestic ones. With things like large cherries, the advantages of domestic products are very obvious. I hope everyone will support domestic goods.
