Forgive my vanity, today I really want to do a field test of the variety most popular with passersby!

- Planted atoutside the doorwhich variety can grab attention right away, making neighbors, friends, and passersby unable to resist reaching out and asking you for a recommendation? (I emphasize "outside" because only outside can passersby see it!

Based on our nursery having planted roses by the roadside for so many years, so many varieties, I want to tell everyone: the variety tested to be most popular with passersby is:

Angel in the Rose Kingdom

République de Montmartre

Bred: 2011 by the French company Delbard

Classification: shrub, can be grown as a climbing rose

Flower: red, medium-to-large bloom, flower diameter 7cm+, standard bloom around 10cm

Fragrance: light raspberry scent

Performance: excellent flowering ability, repeat-blooming, large flower quantity; good disease resistance; heat tolerant, and also somewhat shade tolerant.

- Most popular with passersby! -

Many rose enthusiasts know this variety, and a lot of people came to know it because of its name:

In the "kingdom" of roses, it exists like an angel. This incredibly sentimental name is like a huge magnetic field, making countless artsy men and women jump into the pit without hesitation~

Although its actual name is "Republic of Montmartre"

But based on our own testing, it is also the most popular "roadside rose"!

We planted many climbing roses along the roadside of the nursery: Lijiang Road, Eden Rose, Claire Austin, Lady of Shalott, Angel in the Rose Kingdom...

But every year, the one that passersby ask about, break branches from, and pick flowers from the most is only this one

In May, by the nursery, the photo I took of a passerby secretly picking flowers

Why is it so popular? Isn't it because...

- Red -

Our people love red deeply.

And as long as you like red, you will definitely like Angel in the Rose Kingdom. Its red is truly proper red - true red. (The color changes in depth when it is hot or cold)

What color can grab your eye at first glance like red can?

- Fragrant -

Its fragrance is not strong, but it smells very good.

Some say it is a light tea scent, some say it is a sweet raspberry scent. I cannot distinguish it, I only feel that under the strong sun in June, its warm, sun-baked fragrance is especially attractive.

Many people come over to pick flowers just because they smell it...

- Frequent bloomer -

How frequent is its blooming?

Roughly like having eaten Xuanmai, it simply cannot stop! In a suitable environment, it can bloom continuously from spring to winter, and the flower quantity is large, much larger than other climbing roses (after all, it is originally a shrub with amazingly good flowering ability!)

Taken on June 15 at the Tianlang Rose Nursery, after more than a week of continuous 30°C+ high temperatures

When planting roses outside the door, especially climbing roses, the biggest fear is that they produce no flowers and are all leaves, and when people ask what you planted, you are too embarrassed to say the word "rose"

But Angel in the Rose Kingdom is a qualified face of the house. It blooms extremely frequently and abundantly, and will absolutely not leave you in the awkward situation where flowers cascade in spring and then it desperately pretends to be a tree forever after!

- Heat tolerant -

It is widely acknowledged that roses look miserable in summer, so we have always been hungry for heat-tolerant varieties.

Angel in the Rose Kingdom is quite heat tolerant. Its "heat tolerance" is not like Red Dragon, which can still open standard plastic-like flowers at 40°C. Rather, although the flowers open reflexed and ugly, the flower quantity is still very large!

In 30°C+ weather, some open standard

and some open reflexed

Although the flowers are not pretty enough, it is obvious that in high temperatures it still produces multiple blooms per stem, still blooms abundantly, and the flowering period is still long.

- Disease resistant -

How can roses planted outside get sick all the time?? Varieties that need spraying every few days are only suitable for careful care at home, and must never be put outside to lose face (struck out) and be exposed to wind and rain.

After years of observation, we found that even under adverse conditions such as continuous high-temperature plum rain season in summer and continuous month-long cloudy and rainy weather in autumn, Angel in the Rose Kingdom still grows robustly, with outstanding tolerance performance.

These fence photos posted today were all taken on June 15 this year outside the Tianlang Rose Nursery.

The roses by the fence are all left to grow naturally, never sprayed, and we clearly observed that the angel almost never gets sick, with no disease spots. (It is also possible that it got sick and we did not notice, then recovered on its own)

- Shade tolerant -

We all recommend planting roses in an unobstructed environment with enough light.

But if our environment is a front door, wall side, or fence with some tree shade and less sunlight, then the rose needs a certain degree of shade tolerance.

After years of planting, we found that Angel in the Rose Kingdom performs well in shade tolerance. Even if the leaves on the lower branches get slightly insufficient light, they will not turn yellow, and the lower branches will also bloom.

- Planting effect -

It is a shrub. Even when grown as a climbing rose, it can only be a small climber. Its annual growth height is about 1.6 m, and a mature plant is 2~3 m.

Compared with other climbing roses, it is relatively short, and also somewhat creeping (it likes to lie on the ground). Because the branches are relatively soft, it is easy to shape, train, and horizontally pull, making it very suitable for flower stands, fences, hedges, front doors, wall bases, and other low positions.

Taken on 5.10 in another area of the Tianlang Rose Nursery. The phone photo is a bit blurry, please forgive me

over!

I would like to ask everyone

What is the variety most popular with passersby at your home?

(I will absolutely not say that I want to see the top-voted one and plant one myself!)
