Summer is here. Placing a pot of hydroponic pennywort at home feels fresh and clean, and just looking at it brings a good bit of coolness. Everyone knows that growing pennywort is fairly easy; it is basically a species that survives as long as it gets water. Today, Qiu Ma is sharing how to grow hydroponic pennywort so it becomes big and round, for your reference:

Pennywort can generally be propagated by division. When the pennywort you already have at home grows too lush, pull off a few stems and leaves and grow them in water, and a new pot will quickly grow.

Tips for hydroponic division of pennywort:

1. Pick a few pennywort stems with stalks and prepare a container of suitable size

2. Pennywort can survive in full water culture, but at the initial division stage, we need to add a small amount of soil to the water so it can survive and grow well faster

3. After adding soil to the container, add clean water, then directly place the pennywort into the pot; the water level should just cover one quarter of the pennywort

4. Put 2-3 compound fertilizer granules into the water, place it in a cool, ventilated spot to acclimatize for a week, then move the pennywort to a spot with plenty of light, and it will quickly fill the pot.

Note: If you want pennywort to grow big and round, light is key. Although it has some shade tolerance, pennywort loves light; only with sufficient light will it grow vigorously.

That is all for today's sharing about pennywort. Gardening friends, you are welcome to leave comments and share your care experience.
