Bury this in the potting soil, and your flowers and plants won't need fertilizing for 3 years, yet blooms will fill your home

Nowadays, with the improvement of living standards, more and more people take growing flowers as a daily hobby! However, it is not easy to grow flowers well, and you must usually master some little tricks!
Some friends' potted plants wither as they grow them, and for the most part this is caused by watering! It is not that potted plants cannot be watered, but that sometimes the water will not soak in, and sometimes too much water is given and cannot drain out!
In fact, this is all caused by soil compaction! If you want your potting soil not to compact, you can add "it" before mixing soil for your flowers, and then no fertilizing for 3 years, yet blooms can still fill your home!
What exactly is this magical thing? It is the pine needles and leaves commonly seen in parks, and probably many friends never expected that they could have such a great effect!
When you have free time, flower lovers can often go for a stroll in the park! Bring a plastic bag, pick up some pine needles, and gather some leaves! Take them home and sun them on the balcony, and once dry, step on them to crush them, and they can serve as the raw material for making pine needle soil!
The process for making pine needle soil is as follows:
First, prepare a large flower pot, put a layer of pine needles at the very bottom of the pot, and then add a layer of garden soil. One layer of pine needles, one layer of soil, and each layer must be given an appropriate amount of water, not too much, just moist. The final layer must be covered with a thick layer of soil about 10cm.
Next, seal the mouth of the pot. Before sealing, you can add some banana peels, orange peels and the like, then put it under the sun to ferment for a period of time.
In summer, when the temperature is high, it generally takes 1 or 2 months to ferment, while in winter it is relatively cold, so the time must be a bit longer.
Once the fermentation period has passed, you can see a pot of fertile, loose black soil. Using this kind of soil to grow flowers, you won't need to add fertilizer for 3 years, the potted plants will grow well, and the flowers will bloom even more!
If flower lovers find the above method too troublesome, then let me recommend another one that saves money and effort. You can go directly to parks and roadsides and scoop up some worm castings. Worm castings are actually the soil in which earthworms live, and the nutrients in this kind of soil are really high.
After scooping the worm castings home, mix in some garden soil, and you can plant flowers. This method is indeed simple and effortless. However, I personally think the black fertilizer soil made above has a longer lasting fertilizing effect.
The above are some little tips for growing flowers shared with everyone today. I hope they can be of some help to everyone, and thank you all for reading!
