A small 10 sq m terrace garden can also create a sea-of-flowers effect

I bought a top-floor apartment the year before last. I thought that rooftop terrace of over 100 ping would surely belong to us, but when the apartment was handed over in 2012, it turned out to be a public area. That over 100-ping rooftop was not ours to use, leaving only a small terrace of just over 10 ping. Sigh! Forget it, forget it. Even with just over 10 ping, I can still create a sea-of-flowers effect!
By convention, first some partial beauty shots to whet TXM's appetite
Spending just one hour a day is enough to keep it looking great
I bought the materials for the trellis myself and hired a local carpenter to make it
Except for the China pinks and cyclamens, which were bought from the flower market, all the flowers were raised from seeds and seedlings with painstaking care
I like double-flowered impatiens, but I feel some flowers are like people: without the right chemistry, no matter how you try, you just cannot grow them well. I have given up on double-flowered impatiens and pelargoniums.
The pot of pelargoniums at the back blooms very readily. Hehe, I have a pot too.
Some flower friends say my small terrace has a bit of that feeling of facing the sea with spring warmth and blooming flowers
3Q, come sit often. I bought 6 varieties of double-flowered impatiens in total, and only this one pot is healthy. The others are half-dead, so I will not put them on display. Pelargoniums I think are very easy to grow. Apart from struggling through the summer, they are basically very tough flowers
I have found another terrace I like! Ours has not even been started yet! The terrace of my dreams is just this colorful!
