There are always lots of old books at home, and it is a pity to throw them away, yet they are not much use just sitting there. If you like making a literary-style little decoration with your own hands from old books, why not turn one into a planter for succulents~
Before making it, we need to prepare a steel ruler, glue, a knife, a book, plastic wrap, succulents, turf, and so on.
First, squeeze the glue onto the book and spread it evenly. As shown in the picture.
In the middle of the book, use the steel ruler to measure an appropriate length and width, and use the knife to cut out the middle of the book. As shown in the picture.
Since the book is fairly thick, you can cut it in several rounds; an appropriate depth is enough.
Place the plastic wrap into the book. Adjust and secure it.
Then take out the succulents.
Place the plants into the book however you like.
Press the potting soil down firmly~
Arrange the shape.
Then use turf to cover the potting soil left exposed.
Cut away the excess plastic wrap~
Tidy it up a little, and you are done~
Look at the final result, pretty great, right! Placed at home, it will add quite a bit of color. Simple and convenient, beautiful and practical. So, have you learned how to do it? If the book is thin, you can combine several books into one! Go try it now!
