Caring for the Money Tree in summer is very important. Many Money Trees struggle through the summer because of improper care, which leads to poor growth or even death. So how should you care for a Money Tree in summer? Let's take a look!

How to care for a Money Tree in summer?

(1). In summer's high temperatures, the Money Tree can be protected with a shade net, and you should also mist it frequently to maintain humidity and lower the temperature. Keep it in a well-ventilated spot, otherwise it is prone to pests and diseases. Be very careful with light: direct sun exposure causes yellow patches on the leaves, scorches young leaves, fades the leaves to white, and can even cause necrosis. But it should not be too shaded either, as that makes the leaves pale and withered yellow. Generally, keeping it indoors in a spot with bright, indirect light and good airflow is enough. Or place it by a window with 60% of the light blocked, which helps the Money Tree grow lush and full.

(2). When watering the Money Tree, keep the soil slightly dry. Once you see the soil surface clearly turning pale and dry, it is time to water. Besides regular watering, mist the Money Tree about once every 3 days. The potting soil must not hold too much standing water, especially during the rainy season; be careful that the potting soil does not become too wet, otherwise the roots can easily rot.

(3). Choose a loose, fertile, slightly acidic soil rich in organic matter with good drainage for the Money Tree. The Money Tree has strong budding ability, so you can prune away thick, large pinnate compound leaves to encourage new leaves to sprout from the top.
