In the terrace sunroom garden, a man cooking in the glass room is quite romantic

When the house was first renovated, I hadn't thought about building a garden. Later, after seeing some garden examples, I was gradually drawn in, especially after seeing the beautiful courtyards and terraces of several experts, I became even more determined to renovate the terrace and glass room!

This sunroom needs shade and air conditioning in summer, but in winter it's absolutely wonderful - lazily basking in the sun, sipping tea or coffee, listening to music, truly a heavenly life. I often do this, because my work schedule is flexible, I can often work from home.

I also placed a set of small speakers in the glass room. Brew a cup of coffee, and I can sit from morning until afternoon. Even Starbucks can't compare!

My glass room is actually the dining room plus part of the kitchen, so I spent 4000 yuan to apply 3M heat-insulating and radiation-proof film (similar to car film) on all the glass, and then installed an air conditioner. But if the sun is very strong, the feeling of direct sunlight isn't great either. Originally I was going to install electric curtains, but later I thought, plant wisteria to climb up and shade the sunlight.

The 'Parade' rose was bought at a flower and bird market, and I've only kept it for three or four months. It's not growing well, blooming sparsely, though it does bloom often. A few days ago I repotted it into a large anti-corrosion wood planter.

Because these roses were all dug up from a nursery, five yuan each, and I don't know what varieties they are. But since digging them up, I've found the flowers don't bloom as well as they did in the nursery - either they get pests or the flowers are especially small and don't open fully.

Recently I've also sprayed various medicines, and both the leaves and flowers have improved noticeably.

I've already killed quite a few plants through all this experimenting, but I keep persisting!

I spend more time at home than at the office, and I generally set my own schedule.

Sometimes on weekends, I grab a pair of scissors, look around here and there, and can spend one or two hours at it! (I really envy this kind of life)
