Put this kind of "trash" in the flower pot when growing plants, and you won't lack fertilizer or need to buy any for 5 years

Add a bit of "trash" to the potting soil of clivia ----- charcoal, which can improve the air permeability and drainage of the potting soil, because of the porosity of charcoal and because charcoal is rich in phosphorus and potassium, so it greatly helps the growth, flowering, fruit setting and formation of leaf veins of clivia. High phosphorus and potassium content in the soil can also prevent and control clivia's leaf spot disease and anthracnose, and this nutrient can last for 5 years, so you don't need to buy any other fertilizer
When caring for clivia, pay attention to the following points, and you can just wait for it to fill the pot and wait to brag!
Point one:
In summer the weather is hot and there is a lot of rain, so generally fertilization should be stopped to avoid root rot. Apply a thin soybean cake liquid fertilizer once every 10~15 days. Wait until the potting soil is dry before fertilizing, so it can be absorbed. Fertilizing must not be too frequent or too concentrated, otherwise it will cause root rot. Do not get the fertilizer water on the leaves
Point two:
Clivia needs to be repotted once after it blooms every spring. When repotting, pay attention to choosing a pot of appropriate size. The flower pot must not be too large; a relatively deep clay tile pot is preferable, and a purple clay pot is barely acceptable, but never use a porcelain pot, because poor air permeability is not good for clivia's drainage.
Point three:
Make sure it gets a certain amount of light. In winter, clivia can be placed in a bright spot for a long time; in the hot summer, it can be placed by a north-facing window, with light in the morning and evening being enough. During the process of transplanting and repotting clivia, cut off rotten roots and sprinkle plant ash on the wounds and root system, which can control root rot, promote new roots, and restore its growth.
Pay attention to the above three points, plus the "trash" mentioned in the first paragraph, and you won't lack fertilizer for 5 years of growing plants. Tomorrow you just have to wait for it to fill the pot!
