When buying fertilizer, be sure to avoid these 2 kinds of fertilizer; they are seriously rip-offs

In recent years, new types of fertilizers such as microbial fertilizers and foliar fertilizers have become very popular on the market thanks to their unique advantages, but some unscrupulous merchants take the opportunity to create false concepts to rake in huge profits, luring farmers into buying some "misleading" fake fertilizers, which is truly a serious rip-off!
Microbial fertilizer that has "grown mold/fuzz"
Some manufacturers of fake microbial fertilizers sell "fuzzy" microbial fertilizer and claim that this is a sign of high bacterial content and active bacterial strains. This claim is wrong, and farmers should not be fooled!
First, the fuzz growing on fertilizer is generally miscellaneous bacteria, not only not beneficial bacteria, but mostly harmful fungi of the genus Pythium. Second, ordinary microbial fertilizer will not show a "fuzzy" appearance during storage, and this situation often occurs on organic fertilizer that has not been fully fermented and decomposed. Therefore, these heavily fuzzy fertilizers do not contain beneficial bacteria that are good for crop growth and cannot be called microbial fertilizer.
Foliar fertilizer that can replace root fertilization
Some merchants claim that using their foliar fertilizer can replace root fertilization, so there is no need to apply base fertilizer or root topdressing anymore. If farmers follow this claim in farming, the consequences can be imagined.
Foliar spraying has the effect of fast absorption and high utilization rate, and is often used as a way to supplement nutrients in the middle and late stages of crop growth. However, its fertilizer effect is relatively short, and it cannot comprehensively and long-term meet the various nutrient needs of crops. Therefore, in agricultural production, foliar fertilizer cannot completely replace root fertilization and can only serve as a supplement to root fertilization.
