Lychees ripen in summer; these sweet-and-tart fruits can stimulate the appetite and promote fluid production, sweeping away the body's summer heat.

Today, the editor will teach you how to turn each tiny seed into a fresh and beautiful little potted plant, so don't throw away the leftover seeds next time.

Pick some plump lychee seeds, and try not to choose dry, small ones, as their germination rate is somewhat lower than that of plump seeds.

Remove all the white flesh from the seeds completely, otherwise it can easily cause rot and spoilage.

After cleaning these prepared seeds, soak them in a container filled with water for about one week; if the time is too short, the germination rate will not be high.

Prepare a flower pot container with drainage holes and good drainage and breathability; it should not be too large. Choose loose, breathable, fertile soil, and you can mix in some sandy soil.

Place the lychee seeds flat directly on the surface of the potting soil, then cover them with a thin layer of potting soil.

Keep some distance between each seed to give them room to grow. Before long, small sprouts will slowly emerge from the brown part of the seeds.

Place the pot in a ventilated, brightly lit environment. If planting now, when the midday sun is strong and scorching, you can shade the pot in good time.

There is no need to water too much; keep the soil moist. When watering, you can also spray some water around the pot to increase air humidity.

After about 3-4 weeks, these seeds will grow tender red leaves, which will slowly turn tender green as they grow. After that, normal care is all they need.

Interested flower lovers can try it themselves. Watching these tiny seeds turn into little seedlings brings a full sense of accomplishment, and placing them indoors is both soothing and pleasing to the eye.
