If you want Kalanchoe to produce abundant flowers, pay attention to proper fertilization, applying fish fertilizer once a week during the growing season; it also needs appropriate light, with at least 4 hours of light guaranteed per day, and shade at midday in summer. In addition, you also need to raise the temperature to the 15-25°C suitable for its growth, to ensure continuous blooming.

1. Proper fertilization

Kalanchoe is a fertilizer-loving plant, so fertilization should be carried out during the growing season, especially before the flowering period. From Frost's Descent to October of the following year is the flower bud differentiation period of Kalanchoe, and fertility needs to be supplemented, applying fish fertilizer mainly based on phosphorus and potassium once a week, and applying nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizer once a month. Be careful not to apply fertilizer too concentrated, otherwise it will burn the roots and lead to poor growth.

2. Proper light

Kalanchoe loves light. If the light is insufficient, the plant will be short and produce fewer flowers. It can be placed in a sunny place such as a balcony, with at least 4 hours of light guaranteed per day and even light exposure. In addition, at midday in summer, when the sun is scorching, avoid strong light exposure.

3. Raise the temperature

Kalanchoe is native to Africa, so it is heat-tolerant and not cold-tolerant. During growth, keep it at 15-25°C. In winter, the indoor temperature should be 12-15°C and must not be lower than 5°C. If it stays around 15°C in winter, the flowers can be guaranteed to bloom continuously.
