Building a gazebo in the yard cost 8500 yuan, and netizens are exclaiming what a bargain it is.

The bamboo gazebo plus the retaining walls on both sides, the garden gate next to the house's main entrance, and the trellis on the balcony for the bougainvillea to climb came to a total of 8500 yuan. I think the price is fair, because it is delicate work and very labor-intensive. Four people worked on it for nearly a month.
After the bamboo gazebo was finished, we started planting flowers and grass. We made use of the three-day holiday to buy lots of flowers and plants, and my husband and I became gardeners.
After the water feature was basically completed, we started building the bamboo gazebo.
Sitting on the beauty rail inside the gazebo and looking down, please ignore for now the medicinal residue next to the magnolia champaca on the right in the distance; that is used to improve the soil. The right side looks very crowded now. Next to the stone lantern are two crape myrtles, and along the edge are mahonia, turmeric, banana shrub, red fringeflower, gardenia, and so on. In the middle there are also goose-egg oranges and rock sugar mandarins, and around the two fruit trees there is now small-leaf privet, temporarily used to cover the bare soil. In the future that spot will be a flower bed.
Next to the agapanthus is a green cherry blossom tree, and clematis seedlings have already been grown. Next year they will be planted beside the cherry tree and allowed to climb up it, otherwise the cherry blossom viewing season is really too short.
The flagstone path beside the bamboo gazebo was paved using the original cement drainage path, with a few curves added. Because there is no soil along the edges, plants cannot be grown there, and since it faces the western sun, potted flowers are not very good for decoration when the summer sun is strong. I always found it hard to deal with, and only later did I think of using gold moss stonecrop, which finally solved the problem. In the future I will add some moss rose and the like as accents, and the effect will be even better.
See the iron railing in the back? That will be the rose wall in the future. By the way, here is a photo of the rose wall taken from the direction of the main entrance (the main entrance also got a beauty treatment when the garden was built). The bamboo door seen in this photo is the garden gate, and the garden can also be reached from inside the house.

Looking down from the dining room, the lotus flowers have bloomed and the fish are swimming in the water.
