Nowadays more and more friends are starting to enjoy growing some plants at home, but many friends are not... they do not have much experience in growing flowers and are at a beginner stage. So when we usually grow flowers, after a period of time we will find that the soil for the flowers becomes harder and harder. At this point, we know that this soil is actually no longer suitable for the normal growth of plants. So many friends prefer to directly replace this soil with some new soil, but if it is replaced frequently, it can be said to be very troublesome. So is there any new way to solve the problem of soil hardening?

Nowadays more and more friends are starting to enjoy growing some plants at home, but many friends do not have much experience in growing flowers and are at a beginner stage.

If we want to solve this problem, then first we need to know what mainly causes soil hardening. In fact, the main reason is that when we usually water, we tend to choose tap water as the type of water. From a chemical perspective, tap water belongs to a type of water that, if poured into the soil frequently, can easily cause the entire soil to harden. This is also why I usually fertilize the flowers. When fertilizing, it is said that fertilizing can make plants grow more robustly, so many friends may consider that we can add more fertilizer, because then the flowers can grow more vigorously. But in fact, fertilizer has certain requirements. It is not that adding more will necessarily make them grow more vigorously. Reasonable fertilization is also very important. If there is fertilizer residue in the soil, it will also make the soil harden.

If we want to solve it, then first loosen the soil of the potted plant, then crush some organic fertilizer and pour it in. When spreading it inside, do not spread it too thickly, then pour in some clean water. After waiting for a period of time, the fertilizer can slowly ferment, and the soil on the surface can begin to gradually become loose. Slowly, the soil below will also gradually become loose. In this way, our entire soil will become very loose, and the nutrients inside will also be relatively sufficient. Only when the nutrients are sufficient can the plants have sufficient nutrient supply during the growth process, making it more suitable for the growth of the flowers.

So this method is actually a relatively good method, but it can only be used once or twice at most within a year, not too many times. There is also another method, which is to add a few drops of vinegar to the soil, and this can also be effective. This method is much simpler than the above method. We also mentioned above that a large part of the reason for soil hardening is that fertilizer has accumulated inside, causing the alkalinity inside to become too strong, which in turn causes the alkalinity in the soil to become too strong. Vinegar is acidic. After adding vinegar, it can effectively neutralize the acidity in the soil, so that the soil does not become too hard and can be more suitable for plant growth. Everyone might as well give it a try.
