5 "lazy gardener" potted plants: too much watering kills them, neglect makes them thrive

These 5 potted plants die from too much watering, but thrive when ignored. Lazy gardeners, take note!
1. Snake plant (Sansevieria)
It is very difficult to kill a snake plant, and there are so many varieties of snake plants with different forms, yet their care methods are all about the same. Just keep a warm, slightly dry environment, water thoroughly only after the potting soil has dried out completely, avoid frequent watering, and protect it from freezing in winter, and caring for a snake plant is basically no problem.
2. Dragon tree (Dracaena marginata)
Many plants in the genus Dracaena are well suited as indoor potted plants, and the dragon tree is one of them. It has good drought tolerance and tolerance of poor soil, does not need much light, and prefers a warm, slightly dry environment. During the growing season, you can water thoroughly after the potting soil has dried out completely. In winter, you can basically cut off watering entirely. When the air is dry, you can mist water around it to raise humidity.
3. Aloe (Aloe vera)
Every home should have a pot of aloe. Beauty care and ornamental greenery can all be handled by it. As a herbaceous plant, its drought tolerance is beyond question; its roots can survive for months out of soil, making it very low-maintenance.
Aloe does not like moisture; watering once every half month is enough. Of course, if you forget to water it, you do not need to worry about it wilting to death. It likes sunlight but not harsh exposure, so just place it in a bright spot as usual.
4. Cactus
There are many varieties of cactus, and many have few spines or soft spines, making them suitable for indoor care. Cactus plants are extremely drought-tolerant; their stems and leaves are full of moisture, so they do not need frequent watering, and they do not need frequent attention in care.
To keep a cactus indoors, you only need bright light and a small amount of water. The container should drain well, and in winter be careful to protect it from freezing.
5. Rubber plant (Ficus elastica)
The rubber plant, also known as rubber tree, black prince, and so on, is a woody plant in the genus Ficus of the family Euphorbiaceae. The rubber plant has high ornamental value and is a famous potted foliage plant. The rubber plant is also fairly drought-tolerant, does not need frequent watering, and is simple to care for, though it is not cold-tolerant, so pay attention to keeping it warm in winter. In addition, the rubber plant also has the function of purifying dust and absorbing formaldehyde, making it a good helper for beautifying the home environment.
