Most succulents are thick, fleshy, juicy, small in form, and charmingly chubby. Many people love to keep a pot of them. How should succulents be watered in summer? Many succulents die because of improper watering. Let's take a look below at how to water succulents in summer?

How to water succulents in summer?

(1). Watering: The time for watering is generally chosen in the evening and at night. Keep them in a place with good ventilation for care. This can blow dry the water droplets on the leaf surface, and the water in the potting soil can also spread evenly. Once part of the water has evaporated, it is safer for the succulent plants.

(2). Observe the potting soil, and when you find it has dried out completely, you can water. Water a small amount along the edge of the pot, no need to water thoroughly, and let the water seep in naturally. You can also choose the quick soaking method to ensure the water the succulents need, but doing this takes more time.

(3). Misting the succulents at night can play a role in supplementing water and lowering the temperature. When spraying water, do not let water droplets remain on the leaf surface; if it lasts too long, the leaves are prone to turning to mush.

(4). When watering, avoid letting water accumulate in the leaf center and leaf axils. The remaining water, after the summer sun, makes succulents prone to dropping leaves.

(5). Succulents that enter dormancy in summer should have their watering controlled, and some can even stop being watered.
