Quiet beauty. Life is meant to be this way - why rush from the countryside to the city, and why rush back from the city to the countryside? Alas, villages are slowly disappearing in China's urbanisation process!

My little balcony is about 20 sq m, and after three springs and autumns, I still have to keep tinkering with it!

The greenhouse at night - the temperature inside is just right now

The greenhouse during the day

Brewing coffee - the beans are Golden Mandheling, a bit of a showcase from the coffee interest course I took a while back

Invited some flower-loving friends over for a small gathering - planned for 3 people but 7 showed up. At this time of year there aren't many flowers at home to admire, but everyone enjoyed drinking freshly brewed coffee and chatting together. I also recommended a newly acquired book set, "Chuan Jia", to everyone. Today was busy repotting iron plants and setting up supports, and taking the dog for vaccinations - another fulfilling day

The sunlight is just right

The current dormancy is to wait for spring, for the season when the pelargoniums bloom in full glory, and then we'll meet again...", let's quietly await the arrival of spring together with the plants around us, and when the time comes we'll gather again among the flowers and greenery

Right here, right now

The pelargoniums in the greenhouse right now

The King is about to start putting on a show. The one blooming is a zonal pelargonium - the seedling a flower friend gave me, one of the veterans at home

The little hibiscus is in great form, with the little wooden shoes brought back from the Netherlands sitting beside it. The red roses on top are from our own home too - my husband won't let me pick flowers from outside, so every morning he picks one from our own for me

Romance of wind, flowers, snow and moon. Kalanchoe is a fairly easy-care flower, and credit goes to my dad too - he helps me water them. One day I saw him specially moving one pot onto the TV cabinet. I thought it was odd and asked why - it turns out it's his favourite colour. Hehe

Giving everyone a flower, also picked fresh that morning, to welcome our dear flower friends

A while back I went to the Netherlands on a business trip for a month. The whole time I was thinking about my plants at home. My husband helped take care of them and often reported on their changes. When I came back, it was just in the beautiful spring sunshine. Admiring the flowers on the balcony with my husband while drinking red wine brought back from the Netherlands - moments like this were what I looked forward to the whole time I was away
