This flower is beautiful with a long blooming period; a little propagation trick roots it in ten days and it bursts into a ball of blooms

Geranium, also known as zonal geranium and fish geranium, has several hundred varieties, with vivid flower colors and a distinctive fragrance that helps repel mosquitoes. It is very well suited to growing on windowsills and balconies, blooming in dense clusters, beautiful and eye-catching. If you want to grow geraniums, just cut a few branches and root them as cuttings, and they can bloom for several months:
Geranium cutting propagation methods and little tips:
For the cutting time, you can choose spring or autumn; as long as the temperature is around 20°C, you can take cuttings at any time.
Before taking cuttings, first sterilize the pruning shears; wiping them with a little soapy foam also works, so they are disinfected and free of bacteria.
Choose vigorous branches; they can be the top of a branch or a middle section, semi-lignified branches, not too old and not too soft young shoots, about ten cm long.
Use a transparent plastic cup or mineral water bottle, fill it with vermiculite or river sand. Rooting in a transparent cup makes it very easy to observe whether roots have grown later on, whether you need to add water, and so on. Water the vermiculite thoroughly, but do not let it become waterlogged, so the cuttings do not suffocate from too much water.
You can put another cup outside it, without soaking it in water; just let it absorb enough water, which avoids dripping water while keeping moisture in.
After taking cuttings, place them on a ventilated, shady windowsill; at first, be sure not to expose them to sunlight, as the leaves wilt as soon as they are sunned. Wait until the stems and leaves of the cuttings become firm before giving them light.
Usually roots grow in about half a month. Gradually small leaves will emerge. It looks full of vitality.
When the roots have filled the cup, you can cut the cup open, take out the rooted plant, and transplant it into a flowerpot. Later, you can fertilize more and give it light, and it will bloom into ball after ball of flowers. Once it starts blooming, it lasts for months.
If placed on an enclosed balcony in winter, with ample sunlight and suitable temperature, it can also produce delicate and gorgeous flowers in winter.
Geraniums like ample sunlight; when watering, just make sure the potting soil is not waterlogged.
Usually prune and fertilize more, and the flowers will not stop.
Geraniums blooming into balls of flowers are beautiful no matter how you look at them, never tiring to see!
