I went back to China for a month at the end of March and returned to Sydney in early May. It was already standard autumn here, and the succulents amazed me. For the next two weeks, my biggest focus was taking photos of them!
Let's start with this oddly shaped Fire Storm (Crassula capitella 'Campfire'). In March it looked like this
In May, look at this - how is this Fire Storm? This is a peacock spreading its tail feathers
This bright red patch, I decided to use it as a background to shoot a set of photos of my other small succulents
Now on display is Sedum 'Little Beauty' (Sedum pachyphyllum). This is March
By May it had already changed from yellow to orange
In March, Echeveria 'Suyan' was growing but was both sprawled and green
By May, although still not especially red, it had become a delicate rose
The Sapphire (Echeveria 'Sapphire') changed enormously. Before leaving I had placed it under the eaves and watered it by the soak method. When I came back, it had doubled in size
After two weeks in the sun it turned this dreamy purple
This one I finally figured out is Snow Claw (Echeveria 'Snow Claw'). It's clearly red, so I don't know why it's called that
After a month it became so compact, and it even has two flower cores. I've never seen what its flowers look like, so I'll keep them for now
The Sempervivum arachnoideum in March
In May it's still the same one, tight and dense
Pink Claw (Echeveria 'Pink Claw') is now so pink it's beyond words
Daruma Fukuniang (Cotyledon orbiculata 'Fukuniang') is now plump and has colored up
This is Huangli (Sedum adolphi), right? Yellow and tender
Laor (Sedum clavatum) has also colored up, getting better and better
I don't know the name of this one. It should also be a Haworthia type, right? It has always been kept in a full-sun spot
The unforgettable First Love (Echeveria 'First Love') is becoming more and more delicate
Pink Bluebird (Echeveria 'Bluebird') has always been a favorite, growing steadily
Lotus (Echeveria 'Lotus') in the sunlight?
Su Pi Ya (Echeveria 'Supia'), oh Su Pi Ya
Blue-Pink Tai Ge (Graptoveria 'Titubans') is uniquely beautiful
What is this? Is it an Aeonium type? Masters, please enlighten me
In March, Echeveria 'Violet Queen' was lush green
In May the queen put on her makeup
Rain Drop (Echeveria 'Rain Drop'), I waited for half a year after buying it for it to become beautiful
Now it has truly become beautiful
This is Debbie (Echeveria 'Debbie') in March. In summer it suffered from pests and diseases
In May I was moved by it. I have zero resistance to purple-toned succulents
A basket of succulents in March
A basket of flowers in May
In March, Tang Yin (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora) was already very red
In May it was even more orange-red, making people feel so warm
This is a Takasago something
Now it has become a big cabbage
This Qiuli (Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi') is pink and tender beyond words
Look, my ball cactus has bloomed
This spider web is also quite unique
Hua Yue Ye (Echeveria 'Hua Yue Ye') has colored up even more
The most ordinary Jade Plant (Crassula ovata) is now also very beautiful
Guang Han Gong (Echeveria 'Guang Han Gong') has also become weathered after more than a month
Marcus (Graptosedum 'Marcus') has turned fully pink, and it and the Qiuli behind it are each more delicate than the other
The most ordinary Winter Beauty (Pachyveria 'Winter Beauty'), now it should be able to count as a noble concubine, right?
·
Black Prince (Aeonium 'Zwartkop') has a unique charm with its red and black
A big pot of First Love is in a completely different state from the small bottle
In the previous post, Afterglow (Echeveria 'Afterglow') in March was already stunning (see "Summer in the Southern Hemisphere, though hard to endure, the succulents grow madly!"), and now it is even more wrapped and even more astonishing.
I can't resist posting one more
This is the flower of Silver Queen (Echeveria 'Silver Queen'), set off by the blue sky, uniquely beautiful
Benba (Echeveria 'Benba') has already grown into a clump, so dense that no wind can pass through
I really like this one. I don't know if it's Green (Echeveria 'Green'). I feel it will be even more beautiful when winter comes
Snow Lotus (Echeveria laui) has turned from white to pink
This Christmas Echeveria (Echeveria 'Christmas') is already red enough to make your heart flutter
Otome Kokoro (Sedum 'Little Missy') is jelly pink
Chihuahua (Echeveria 'Chihuahua') has also grown up
Peach Egg (Graptopetalum amethystinum) has grown by more than one size, and has already been repotted
Red Pink Beauty (Graptoveria 'Red Pink Beauty')
My mountain of succulents and sea of succulents, my love
Winter Beauty in the sunlight
Finally, let's take a group photo with my succulents!
