Speaking of it, the UK's royal flower shows are really impressive. The editor-in-chief hereby sets a flag: one must go at least once in a lifetime!
As a grand event in the floral art world, the annual Chelsea Flower Show has always attracted much attention. If there are three things in London that often cause traffic jams, this definitely counts as one, while the other two are the Queen's outings and the triumphant return of a winning football team.
The Chelsea Flower Show has a history of more than 150 years. Every year, hundreds of the world's top horticulturists bring their latest ideas to exhibit, so calling it the Oscars of the floral art world is not an exaggeration at all.
Everyone who loves flowers and loves life is unwilling to miss this exhibition, just as 92-year-old Queen Elizabeth II of the UK also appeared at the scene in a pink outfit. This was her first appearance after attending Prince Harry's wedding.
At this exhibition, in addition to Elizabeth II, from royalty and aristocrats to celebrities from various countries, they all appeared one after another, and there were also horticultural masters and film and television celebrities visiting here, so the chances of running into someone were also very high~
But for ordinary people like us, getting into this flower show is really a bit difficult. Not to mention the ticket price, which is about a thousand yuan converted into RMB, the problem is that some flower lovers who learn about it too late simply cannot grab tickets at all!
This is what is meant by tickets being hard to get. After all, missing it means regretting it for a year. So how exactly is this UK flower show, for which tickets are so hard to get?
The answer really does not disappoint! During the Chelsea Flower Show, the street storefronts are all surrounded by fresh flowers, and one feels as if wandering in a sea of flowers.
The pairing of British-style architecture and gardening has always been very captivating
Pink tones are a young girl's favorite. Combined with the creativity of the small car, once you see it, you cannot move your feet.
This kind of satisfaction from flowers bursting out is an extreme visual feast. The pink, purple, and yellow combination below blends fresh, delicate style with a relaxed artistic tone. Walking in feels like being in a dream.
These are only a corner of the street, yet they are already enough to dazzle the eyes. Nature and design, creativity and practicality, are all skillfully integrated.
And when you walk into the flower show, the rich gardening atmosphere and natural creative concepts are even more touching, truly presenting another side of life before your eyes and making people deeply immersed in the designer's unique powers of observation and creativity.
Here, one cannot fail to mention the Wuhan Water Garden work. It is worth noting that this was not created by a designer from our country, but by a famous British architectural designer who, after feeling the long water culture history of Wuhan as the "City of a Hundred Lakes," constructed a garden work. The fountain in the center drew many visitors to stop.
The unique creativity and distinctive Chinese elements made this work attract much attention, and it ultimately won the Bronze Award. I believe the flower lovers who saw it on site also felt an indescribable emotion in their hearts, but they surely hope even more that in the future Chinese designers' own works can appear in this exhibition and present our floral art to the world!
Then, let us enjoy some of the works from the Chelsea Flower Show together!
