My home is by the sea, where it is usually very windy. Winter is not very cold, but in summer there are often high temperatures of 30 to 40 degrees, and typhoons are frequent, so the climate conditions are actually quite harsh.

The terrace is rectangular, about 50 sq m, facing west, so the rough plan is: on the north side there is a flower shed and door panels to block the wind, serving as the area for taller flowering shrubs and climbing vines. The row of space on the west side near the fence is left for bougainvillea, because they like the western sun and can also resist and block wind.

The large space in the very middle is kept as a flowering herbaceous plant area that can often be changed and recombined, as well as a leisure activity area for barbecues and tea brewing. With the wind blocked by the flowering shrubs, the flower shed and the bougainvillea hedge, the low-growing herbaceous flowers can grow better.

Because the south side has nothing to block the wind and gets severe western sun, it is used as the area for succulents and oxalis that are tenacious, light-loving and ventilation-loving. Two or three racks were set up, and most of them are grouped together by category.

Fat pot meat. My family says I am a scavenger picking up junk. But I think that a broken rattan chair, broken kitchenware, a broken fan, an old wooden frame, old shoes, old clothes, as long as you put in some thought and use your hands, can become a scenic view. Life is not lacking in beauty, only in the eyes willing to discover it...

Succulents and stone painting, the World Cup, the European Cup, flowers and plants with football, fish and bear's paw, one still and one moving, all are what I love...

Here three wooden racks were set up, one for oxalis and two for succulents. The wooden racks were also made from picked-up wooden boards and sticks, designed by myself, sawed by myself and nailed by myself. There are three levels in total, and the bottom level can serve as a seat with a backrest. I have not yet bought paint to brush them, so they look very simple and shabby. There is no way around it. My garden is just a waste-material garden, and every place is so low-key.

The advantage of potted plants is that the configuration and combination of flowers and plants can be adjusted flexibly at any time, creating different landscape effects according to different seasons and different flowering periods. The disadvantage is that flower pots are often not big enough, and watering in summer is exhausting.
