You can grow dandelions in pots at home, and the method is very simple

Dandelion is a fairly common wild vegetable, sometimes sold in vegetable markets too, and it has considerable medicinal value, making it very popular among middle-aged and older people. If you grow a few pots of dandelion on your balcony, you won't have to go through the trouble of digging them in the wild, and there's no pollution. So how do we grow dandelions on a balcony?
First is collecting seeds. You don't need to buy dandelion seeds; we can look for them along roadsides, in the suburbs, and so on. They generally mature around June, and usually you can collect them once the seeds turn brown
Then comes sowing. Dandelions can be sown in spring, summer and autumn, so for the seeds you have on hand, first leave them to dry in a cool, ventilated place for 1-2 days, and then you can sow them. Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the potting soil, then cover with a thin layer of soil, water thoroughly, and place in a shady spot. They will sprout in about 7-15 days
Besides collecting seeds and sowing them, dandelions can also be grown by directly digging up seedlings. Since we're not growing many on a balcony, when digging up dandelions in the wild you can take them with roots and soil, then bring them back and plant them, and that works too
Growing dandelions on a balcony is really very simple. Because dandelion is a perennial herb, you don't need to sow it every year. When you want to eat it, just cut the leaves, and there's no need to pull it up by the roots
